I didn't. I inherited this from someone who just retired. I did not get to overlap with him before he left. My guess is he did it because there were almost 400 DP's at one point. But I still don't think it was necessary as all the external DP's have been set up as pull from the DP on there assigned Primary.
One of the main issues I see is that in AD there appears to be no long list of boundaries under System Management. All of the boundaries assigned to the remote DP's are not listed. All of the boundaries assigned to the local DP's are. The difference is that they are under different sub domains. By that I mean the local is b.com and the remotes are b.a.com or c.a.com. When I change to those domains in ADUC and look under System Management. Nothing is listed. Should I be seeing those boundaries somewhere. It seems packages are being delivered and installed.
