What kind of boot media, Dynamic or Site specific? We found that by default if
you have dynamic media it will always try to talk to an HTTPS MP first, which
for us was actually a problem so we had to switch to site specific.

Do you have both HTTP and HTTPS MPs? Try dynamic media or site based and pick
an HTTPS MP when selecting which one.

Subject: [mssms] Setting Secure Connection As Default

Greetings,

I'm working in an environment in which secure communication is the standard for
some portions of the network. By default, the boot disk will try to connect
with an unsecure connection using http, and we have to wait a few minutes for
it to fail (as it should), and then it tries https successfully. Does anyone
know how to change the boot disk to default to secure connections? I've been
scouring the internet for a few hours and just can't seem to find anyone that's
done this, but I can't be the first to want this. I would have thought that by
integrating a certificate into the boot media it would have been intelligent
enough to modify this, but I am mistaken.

Thanks!
Tom
