If you are simply trying to find and reclaim wasted licenses and you already have ConfigMgr it would be in your best interest to look at the two vendors who leverage the data you already have to perform this work for you. Obviously there are many individuals on this list that have used software from, or work for, one or the other of those vendors. I've personally blogged how I use one of the solutions to automate the process or reclaiming unused licenses.
