We currently have SCCM 2012 R2 installed on Windows 2012 R2 servers. We need to build another primary but because of some political issues it needs to be installed on a Windows 2008 R2 server.
Are there any issues with WSUS 4.0 (Windows 2012 R2) and WSUS 3.0 SP2 + hotfix 2734608 (Windows 2008 R2) in regards to interoperability? I can’t seem to find anything out there calling it out that it will/wont work but would be interested if anyone else out there is running this configuration.
