MUI's aren't language specific updates. They are simply updates that can be
added to any language of whatever product they are for. This goes for LIPs as
well as other language packs. Thus, no there's no need to add the language to
the SUP config to have them included in your catalog.

Subject: [mssms] SUP language setting does what exactly?

I thought that enabling a language in SUP is required if anything else then
english is used (assuming english is the default).
So that when e.g. French MUI is activated, that the updates for that language
are also downloadable.

But I have a Win7 client, with French mui and downloaded the latest updates
with English only, but they install regardless on the French MUI client.
The also show the French text in software center but I also disabled that in
the "summary details".

Why do I still see French details and why aren't the updates not failing?
I checked WSUS, there "download updates in all languages..." is enabled.
Isn't that supposed to use "download updates only in there languages",
controlled by the SUP?
