Yeah, that's essentially what I am looking for. Only addition to what you have is I'd like to create an SSRS report off of it where 1) it only shows the updates in a specific SUG (prompt for SUG) and 2) the update title is a hyperlink to the InfoURL.
I'll play around with it a bit but wanted to see if anyone had gone down that road before I spent too much time on it. Something similar to "Management 3 - Updates in a deployment" but I wanted to add the descriptions and the InfoURL to the report. It looks like the v_UpdateInfo view has everything I need, I just want to create a report out of it. Ideally, I'd like it to look something like this but with two additions: 1. The hyperlink of the title would be the InfoURL (ie: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/...) associated with the update in the v_UpdateInfo view 2. A 4th column for the description (which in most cases is a generic description but it could help) How hard would that be? Any pointers? Has anyone done something like this before?
