That’s the issue with that approach, good, better, best. Even good is practically way too good for 98 % off all users and they would be happy for sure with whatever business model is available today.
Core-i5, 8GB RAM, SSD. Standard more or less but no, they ask for 16G, core-i7 without having a clue. Management isn’t listening either, hence dozens of models to support And then they have a computer with an actual 5%CPU and 3GB memory usage. SSD is the only real performance boost people really want. All our new models (HP) are i5, 8GB, 256 SSD. With 2 sizes for notebooks and one desktop, that’s it. -Roland From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Murray, Mike Sent: Donnerstag, 5. We select 3 desktop and laptop models (good, better, best) each year for people to choose from (and we get good pricing on them), so we may have 6 new models each year. The problem is, we will have computers 6 years old or more still around. So that makes for a lot of models. :/ From: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Roland Janus Sent: Wednesday, March 4, 2015 3:00 PM To: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Subject: RE: [mssms] Get product name is blank Obviously you must have tons of money to waste, that’s what that usually is called… -Roland From: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Murray, Mike Sent: Mittwoch, 4. It’s difficult to tell people what they *have* to use. At least we’re managing them. That took forever to get approved by the million or so committees we have to go through. :) Mike From: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rickym61 Sent: Wednesday, March 4, 2015 1:56 PM To: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Re: [mssms] Get product name is blank Exactly what I thought when I saw that list.
