Well it almost works perfectly CM12R2 CU4, single primary installation. Some basic configuration, one package to test with and one client, all works fine. I backup the DB (SQL only), the content library and the encryption key for SQL reporting. I thought that this should be enough Then: I kill the complete server (revert VM to a plain OS before any installation) Fresh install, new DB Preinst /stopsite Restore the DBs from a SQL backup, overwrite existing Restore content Do a Site recovery, selecting to use manually restored DB. The server looks fine, but that client Im testing with now throws that error. Unable to find PKI certificate matching SCCM certificate selection criteria. 0x87d00283 It seems to work, software dist, inventory goes up, just that error. Obviously something cert related. I didnt have the impression I would need to do something with that for backup or restore. What am I missing? -roland
