I had this job run for the first time last night. When I run the query to check
the statistics I'm still seeing a lot of records with a last updated date in
2013 and 2014, though the amount of records has reduced from 295 to 37. Does
this sound right for anyone who runs this?

Daniel.

Subject: [mssms] Disabling rebuild index site maintenance task

Last night I implemented the reindexing and defrag optimisation steps for the
ConfigMgr database detailed here:
https://stevethompsonmvp.wordpress.com/2013/05/07/optimizing-configmgr-databases/
and I plan on scheduling the job to run once a week.

For those of you who have done this, should I be disabling the built in
ConfigMgr 'rebuild indexes' site maintenance task now? It's currently set to
run once a week too.

Daniel.
