Exactly right; expected behavior.
In Configuration Manager 2007 you had to stream-enable the DPs to stream App-V 
packages, but in 2012 those capabilities are enabled by default so that’s at 
least one less step you need to make.

We must install the APP_v client first and later we install the APP-v 
application. without APP-v client it will not install.

But with sccm 2007 r2 if u enable APPV settings in the client agent and dp it 
rocks.......

In that case it for SCCM 2012 it was degraded the appv settings.... Too bad
