I have two hierarchies residing in separate, untrusted forests, each consisting
of a single primary site. The goal is to merge (really migrate) one of the
sites, running CM 2012 RTM, with the other site which is running CM 2012 SP1.

Bit of info about the source site:

*         CM 2012 RTM

*         ~220 clients

*         7 DPs

* Various packages/applications need to be brought over

* Various OSD items (driver packages, OS images, task sequences) need
to be brought over

* Various collections need to be brought over

Scope of work items I'm concerned with:

* Migrate packages/applications, OSD items and collections

* Reutilise the 7 DPs in the destination site

* Account setup for untrusted forest discovery methods, client push and
network access

*         Migrate clients

So I guess firstly I want to know if it's actually possible and supported for
me to be able to do all this with clients in an untrusted forest - my
preliminary research suggests it is. I have already come across a few issues
which will require workarounds to be implemented, namely:

* Auto approval of all untrusted clients

  * Only a single network access account can be defined:

I'm also interested to know if I can use the built in migration abilities of CM
2012 to do this or whether there will be a lot of manual exporting/importing
involved. Anything else I need to consider?

Daniel.
