The only issues I've had with he AI view, a long time ago, was Office inventory showed up funky and the cert expired. Those were both resolved in short time. There was an instance where I had to extended and use the ARP class to filter out systemcomponents (anything not explicitly show in the appwiz.cpl) due to a requirement. Concerning SQL instances, I've relied on creating custom classes for inventorying SQL instances using Sherry's tutorial.

The reason is simple, that V_GS_INSTALLED_SOFTWARE does not show everything that is possible installed, for that matter it will hide some software title which are listed within ARP like Microsoft SQL server 2014. Is there a SQL query I could use as a template and re-use it by modifying the DisplayName? For example, one of the apps in question is 'AOL Toolbar'. Can someone provide an example of a query I could use for this task? And make modifications to the query based on the name? Thanks, Brian
