Hi, Apologies in advance; I'm pretty green when it comes to OSD - I wanted to know if I can locate the wims for all my boot images in a single directory. So I've got the two default CM ones and I'm creating x86 and x64 MDT boot images.
I've created my first MDT boot image in a particular directory and notice there are two files - winpe.wim and winpe.<packageid>.wim - no idea what the latter is but some searching suggests it's just a backup of the wim, although the file size is bigger and when I check the data source of the boot image it's pointing to winpe.wim. Can anyone explain this? When I create my second MDT boot image and specify the same directory for the wim it won't allow me to continue, presumably since it sees a wim already in there. So can I create this temporarily in another directory, move the wim into the first directory and change the data source to reflect this? I'd also like to move the default CM boot images' wim files in there too and update the data sources. Alternatively, I could not complicate things and put them in separate directories :) Daniel. ********************************************************************* This email, including any attachment, is confidential to the intended recipient.
