Tks for pointing this out, Jerry… Further, we will be adding a new tool soon that allows a full in place upgrade. w/o PxE, and allowing the BiOS --> UEFI conversion in the process. It was first shown publicly at the last MMS. There is also an on-demand webinar that illustrates the process HERE<http://www.1e.com/on-demand-webinar/automate-bios-uefi-secure-windows-10/>. Apologies if this was already posted.

They have some scripts and Task Sequence components to automate the process. http://www.1e.com/products/windows-10-migration/automation/<http://www.1e.com/products/windows-10-migration/automation/> From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Chris Barnes Sent: Thursday, June 16, 2016 1:40 PM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>; [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [mssms] RE: [MDT-OSD] In Place MBR to GPT Conversion without losing data Got it. I had a client that was asking if this would be a better way to get from Win7x64 on BIOS to Win10x64 on UEFI. Instead of doing a wipe and load, and switching to UEFI in the process, to go to UEFI while still in Win7, and then do an In Place upgrade to 10.
