Yeah, how hard can it be to make a P2P solution? Really. <Facepalm/>

Joking aside, PeerCache will be a really excellent stepping stone to
BranchCache for people who just want to offload the server a bit.

For anyone not in the peer-2-peer mix, it’s pretty darn hard to develop a P2P
solution. Or any think election based for that matter. Trivia is that the guy
who wrote the NT4 Master Browser election service found that it was
theoretically impossible to get right.

Correct. PeerCache was not ready for primetime so they postponed it till the
next release – which if you do the math should be 1610 and should coincide
nicely with the rest of System Center 2016 and Windows Server 2016 being
released at Ignite.

Yep, looks like it didn’t make 1606 – which doesn’t mean that it’s been canned,
just that it’s not ready from prime time perhaps..

I think there’s a new TP coming soon so maybe it will still be in there

Looking at 1606 later today in more detail!

Not in CB 1606 I been told. Phil might know more? Is BranchCache for Policy
working yet?

Our free BITS-BC reporting will show you more data than the built in though, so
might be an option.

Where is the client data sources dashboard we were promised in 1605? Am I not
wAiting long enough for something, or did it not make it to RTM.
