Subject: [mssms] SQL upgrade

We have 2008R2 at the moment, installed on my Primary site server. I want to
upgrade:

1) 2012, or 2014? (I'm thinking 2014, just for future proofing)

2) Any major gotchas?

a. I'm planning on doing a full backup of the database first, and this is
also a VM, so there will definitely be a snapshot before doing the upgrade.
