Ah no sorry - using the Jul media with the December 2016 CU injected via
offline servicing - essentially the same thing. I've built our Windows 10 1607
image using MDT without any issues, I've just made sure that the CU in injected
before the OS boots - I'm assuming your using Configuration Manager? Software
Updates can be a real pain during B&C with CM.

The issue with the indexing seems to only have appeared in the last few months
- I only became aware of it in January. Starting to test it now under various
scenarios. Also emailed Michael Niehaus to see if Microsoft has any visibility
over the issue.

You can leave the language pack out - but then you don't get any Australian
regional spelling capabilities within the OS.

It's not specific to the English Australia language scenario either as others
have posted about the issue -

I'm still trying to build our Win10 image so I'll let you know if we encounter
that. I'm actually using your blog post on the language pack installation. So
despite the features on demand media saying it's only compatible with 1607 Jul
media, you've got it working with the Nov media?

Ok - no worries :) must be something else then.

On a side note - sorry to hijack your thread - seeing as your using the
Australian language pack - are you seeing this?

We are and the only fix seems to be not to install the
Microsoft-Windows-Client-Language-Pack_x64_en-gb.cab file (which gives you the
en-AU display language)

Feel free to change the reply subject so others can respond to your issue.

Appreciate your reply - we were actually using the Jul media because there's a
note on the latest features on demand media saying it's only compatible with
the Jul media (we need this for the Aus language pack). Anyway, I've just tried
the Nov media and it's the same problem. One correction - the log displaying
the errors is RebootCoordinator.log not ClientServices.log.

Are you using the latest VL media for 1607? There was a bug with the original
media which caused an issue with the WU agent crashing

I'm developing a Win10 B&C and the Install software updates step is doing
nothing. I'm seeing "cmcsetup is still running. Will retry in 1 minute"
polluting the ClientServicing.log and the TS eventually fails with error
0x800705b4.

This is CM 1610 with the latest client and Win10 1607.
