The cool thing about myITforum is that members can setup and maintain their own
repositories by creating “groups”

Subject: [mssms] Configuration Settings/Baseline examples/recommendations?

I have a few configuration settings & baselines configured in my environment,
but I'm sure I'm drastically under utilizing this feature. I'd like to know
what others use configuration baselines for. If anyone has examples they'd be
willing to share, I'd appreciate it.

Along those lines, I was recently thinking... there ought to be some public
repository of Configuration Settings/Baselines that might be useful in many
organizations. Sort of a "Configuration Baselines Cookbook", with descriptions
of each recipe, examples, and suggestions on how they could be adjusted for
different situations. Then an admin could customize those that are a good fit
and implement them in the way that best suits their environment.

Does such a thing exist?

Steve
