Hi All, Just wondering how you are all handling uninstalling security updates on W10? In the event a monthly update caused issues with an application,
In the old days you could uninstall the update as it was a small update and the method in here using PS and DISM works https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/f6594e00-2400-4276-85a1-fb06485b53e6/issues-with-wusaexe-and-windows-10-enterprise?forum=win10itprogeneral&prof=required Now since MS changed it to CU updates, "2017-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4019472)" the above method no longer works with DISM. You can use wusa /uninstall ....... but you need to provide the MSU file, so going forward with this method you need to deploy a 500mb (x86) or 1GB (x64) just to uninstall it, this doesnt seem to be a logical step. I'm hoping someone already has a method of doing this or is up for a challenge? Thanks Ricky,
