Hello All,

We are moving from a 2008 to 2012 server and have WSUS working on both at this
point. The 2008 server is configured to deploy patches internally and
externally. We have changed this so the 2012 server DP will only patch internet
based clients.

To replace the 2008 server with the 2012 server, is it as simple as configuring
it the same way and then just removing all the roles on the 2008 server? We
have a number of employee's that are always remote, how will their machine know
about this new DP? Should I just leave both in the mix for a while until these
remote computers are aware there is another DMZ DP? I tried searching around
and was not able to find any best practices for how this should be handled, or
what to watch out for.

Any help, tips etc would be great!

Thanks,

Chris
