Make sure no one else is logged onto the computer.  The 1st session to log on 
will see packages, TS, etc.  Since applications/software updates are "new" they 
can be seen if multiple people are logged onto the machine.

Do quser from command line and if you see someone else logged on log that 
person off, relaunch software center and see if you can see your packages.

Has anyone seen the issue within Software Center where it only displays 
applications, not packages? I've found that uninstalling/reinstalling the 
client fixes this but curious what would cause this, and if there is a quicker 
fix.
