I see on myitforum that there are some new updates for win10 today: http://myitforum.com/myitforumwp/2017/11/30/microsoft-end-november-with-a-servicing-stack-compatibility-updates-and-a-new-cu-for-windows-10/
There's the helpfully named "Compatibility Update for Upgrading to Windows 10 version 1709 November"... Based on the kb article <https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4052342/compatibility-update-for-upgrading-to-windows-10-version-1709-november>, I have no idea whether this update applies to v1703 to help with compatibility upgrading to 1709, or if it is one of those that is downloaded and applied during setup, or if it is actually an update that applies to v1709. The name seems to imply that it's not the last one, but. . . Then there's "Compatibility update for upgrading to and recovering Windows 10 Version 1709: November 30, 2017". This KB article <Compatibility update for upgrading to and recovering Windows 10 Version 1709: November 30, 2017> is equally informative. It's mildly frustrating that we get no indication of what these updates actually fix, but at this point, I don't even know what OS version they apply to! Ugh. </rant>
