We were thinking about CMG but guess i missed the part where it doesn't support
TS'es, so looks like its an easy choice, need to use IBCM. Does anyone know
the technical reason TS'es don't work with CMG? TS not being supported I would
think would dissuade lots of people using CMG.

Thanks

We have TS based software deployments (cant be change to regular SWD for now)
hence this need, otherwise original plan was to use CMG+CDP.

Paul, Yes to instruct clients to get patches from MS directly is indeed a good
feature. We stopped due to network level issues or so, however addressing those
challenges currently as saving bandwidth is top priority now

Why don’t you just get rid of them completely and add a CMG and cloud DP?

Subject: [mssms] Firewall for IBCM DP in Azure

Hi,

We plan to move IBCM servers to Azure, part of our Cloud initiative. Currently
our servers are there in DMZ network of organization, once we move servers to
Azure, what will be cost effective firewall options available in Azure to
secure our DP/environment

Goal is to enable these DPs continue offering software, patches to internet
SCCM clients while not compromise on security

Thanks, Vasu
