I'm afraid it did not {:v)
SP2 refused to install, claiming that pieces were missing - didn't specify
what exactly.
SP1 ran and immediately shut down again, without so much as a message box.
Trying to install the 1.1 runtimes manually results in a claim that
something installed beta components, so uninstall xxx... trouble is, they
were apparently installed by the VS.NET installation I had, and that was a
bear to install, so I can't uninstall the bits independently and am not
willing to uninstall VS.NET.
So I guess I'll stick to what I have {;v)
