Hi,

The beast does exist. In my many travels over the net I have seen perl2c
and even debated about downloading it.

The PostgreSQL-HOWTO also talks about it.

This Beast lives at
http://language.perl.com/news/compiler-alpha1.html

The Newer Version are on CPAN under CPAN/modules/by-module/B

Happy Hunting

Regards
Andrew
