I did wonder if you were talking about VC7 or VC6 - my information came from
VC6, since I have not had opportunity to use VC7 at all as of yet. It is
entirely possible that CString (MFC) functionality has deteriorated due to
the change you mention, in which case my information is inaccurate and I
apologise. Can I recommend that you specify whether using VC6 or 7 in such
posts, to help us avoid that? Not an obligation, of course, but it helps
{:v)
(Note: for those 'lovers' of MFC out there, suggesting using MFC in itself
is not an 'inaccuracy'! {;v) )
