I wasn't arguing.
All I said was that C compilers parse right to left.
Someone pointed out that the standard does not require any specific order of evaluation and I pointed out that there are no C compilers that don't parse right to left.
So what a standard may or may not say doesn't have any real bearing on the order of evaluation.
