I wanna know how to get the text pointed by mouse, but I found it's not easy to get some explation on it. So I wanna get some help from you. I wanna know which API function I should use and which message I should catch.

Ps,I am a beginer of Windows program.I have learned C/C++, Win32 program(I learned it from Progamming Windows by Charles Petzold). And now I'm studying MFC. But I found MFC is not as easy as Win32 program to be understood. I feel I'm in a puzzle palace. The book I'm reading is Programming Visual C++(the fifth edition of Inside Visual C++) and Visual C++5 Developer's Guide by David Bennett. I wanna get some recommendation on how to learn MFC more effective and programming more freely.
