We are currently using (the now discontinued) ALERT! to generate SNMP
traps from defined events (from SQL, our own apps etc) in the application
log.
These are then represented at a management station with Castle Rocks SNMPc
according to category.
Now that Alert! is no longer available, I need a replacement product to
"ship" application and system logs via SNMP.. has anyone used similar
products they've had good experiences with?
I also have one eye on migration to Win2K later this year, and any
replacement must be compatible..
All thoughts welcomed!
