Actually, no you don't. When you add a computer to the domain via server
manager, the client machine is able to join the domain with no rights being
used on that end. You don't check off the 'create computer account' checkbox
during setup, and once the system is up and running, any domain user can log
in...all users have log on locally rights to NT4WS. Of course, it's best to
log on with admin so you can either grant a domain user admin rights to
install the necessary programs, or do it under admin itself.

If the computer is added to the domain, you still need to log on once with
rights to set the computer to join the domain, then any user that has logon
locally rights should be fine.

In NT 4.0, if I added the computer to the domain for the user, then they can
join the domain by type in their NT account as a Domain User, right? or it
needs someone with Domain Admins right to do this?
