When you say, "cant attach" what do you mean, do you get timed out?
do you get denied access?
When you say that you are trying to attach to the C$ and D$ shares I
hope that doesn't mean that you are just backing up shares. A good backup
client will have an agent for the machine to be backed up, it's a lot
better.

Hi
I have a backup server in one domain , and the remote server to be
backed up are on another domain. For some reason i can't attach to some
servers on the remote domain, but i can connect to two of them, there are 12
servers in all. I checked the trust and it is correct.Is there some other
reason why i can't attach to a remote drive(c$ or d$)on the other domain. I
can attach to of the remoter servers and shares, but i can't connect to any
shares on the other servers. nay ideas would be appreciated.
