I thought about that, but I also have an SSCE and a SQL server inside that
domain.. Problem, is IIS_DEV doesn't care nor do I belive that SSCE does but
SQL is NOT happy if you rename the server

Could be that or something else... I need a bit of help.. not sure where to
go from here..

I have a series of trusting domains all on different subnets. They trust
each other.. no problems.. except

I have a domain that has similarly named computers.
So I would have a DEV network with IIS_DEV in it and a DEVELOPMENT network
with IIS_DEV in it also.

Problem? If I try to parse the DEVELOPMENT network first I get an error
saying it can't retrieve the server names, then off a sudden they popup.
Browse through the DEVELOPMENT\IIS_DEV box and find out that its actually
the DEV\IIS_DEV box.

What have I done?
Registered the domain with the IP addresses in WINS.
Created and imported the LMHOSTS file with the servers in the DEVELOPMENT
network.

Now I don't get an error parsing the DEVELOPMENT network but it I still get
the DEV servers.

Anyone have ideas how I might get around this? Its only temporary and I just
need a few developers to access it for ensure things work properly.

Thanks
