I believe you will also need to be running AD for this to work.

That is for adding applications with .msi files.  You install the
software from the server using group policies and it gets installed when
they next log in.  You can also install applications without a .msi file
by creating a .zap batch file

in win2k under add/remove programs--> Add New programs  there is an
option to install programs from the network...

has anyone ever used this feature, and if so how do I go about packaging
install packages for that applet to recognize my programs to be
installed
