Have you looked at the permissions in the WINNT directory?  Take a look at
Technet using the search "no desktop after login" or something to that
effect, is that's even the question you're asking.  Your permissions could
have been screwed up after the repair.  But to tell you the truth, I don't
understand what your asking.

BTW - I think many people found your second response rather flippant.  Not
sure if that's the way it was intended, but I took it that way too.  Not
exactly how you want to come off if your asking people for free help.  Even
if they can't help you with this situation, you might want help in the
future.
If that's not how you meant your comment to come across, I apologize.
