I would imagine Technet or Microsoft.com would have something. I havent setup a RAS server in about 2 years, but it seems like when I did it in W2K, it took about 10 minutes. As for VPN, I have never used MSVPN. I have Cisco for that.
You should be able to accomplish this with little trouble. You just need to do a little homework and you will be fine. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Edith Dudley Sent: Wednesday, October 17, 2001 12:11 PM To: MSWinNT Discussions Subject: Re: Setting up a remote user Do you need both? What is the best place to start to get information on setting up a VPN with an NT server? I have seen a lot information lately for W2k server. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Martin Blackstone" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "MSWinNT Discussions" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, October 17, 2001 1:57 PM Subject: RE: Setting up a remote user > If you have home users accessing network data, you will either need a > RAS server or a VPN. > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, October 17, 2001 11:19 AM > To: MSWinNT Discussions > Subject: Setting up a remote user > > > We are closing down our remote sales office (it is in another state > from the home office) and setting up the user in her home.
