We add "Domain/Domain" Users to the "Power Users" Group on the local
machine. I seem to work OK but you have to make the change on each machine.

Power users. Or I would use local security policies and create a group with
the exact permissions you would like them to have and add the users to that
group.

Subject: Win2K privs in NT4 domain

Greetings,

We have several individuals that have Windows 2000 Professional on their
systems.
These folks login into a NT4 domain, and have no local accounts on their
systems. They are simply - users.

How would I go about allowing them to perform simple tasks like changing the
time, or adding a printer, or changing the print cartridge.

They basically have no priv's, any suggestions to allow them more access to
their systems without local accounts or admin privs?

thanks in advance
