What kind of server do you intend on buying? What kind of application are you running on it?
Can the company afford for this server to be offline indefinitely? Imaging server?? Accounting vendor??? You "don't know" what they want it for??? Yet, you want to save your company money??? Wouldn't it be better to know what is needed? Wouldn't it be better to know why the accounting vendor wanted it???
