SCOPY - I believe it is in the Reskit. SCOPY /? for more info.
Functionality to preserve permissions when copying between machines is built
into XCOPY as an option in Win2K and WinXP.

Can anyone help?

Scenario: two similar machines (bdc), running NT4 and connected to the same
network (they can "see" each other). What is needed: copy the entire file
structure from drive D: (NTFS) of machine A to drive D: (NTFS) of machine B,
preserving the exact file and share permissions. (Over the network, maybe??)
Problem: there is no tape drive on any of these two machines.
Solution: that's what I wanted you to tell me...

If you need any other info, please tell me.

Thanks a lot!

TC
