I think with 5.5 it shipped as a separate CD, the Client Pack. At least,
that's what I have in my desk here.

Well, if you have an Exchange 5.0 CD around, you may be able to find the old
Exchange client. There are some rumors that it is on the 5.5 CD as well, but
I have never found it.
Otherwise you pretty much need Outlook. I would suggest Outlook2000.

Subject: MAPI Client

Hi

I have only just come accross this problem now after all this time...

we have a server that requires a MAPI client. We used to use Windows
Messaging on windows NT 4.0, but this no longer exists with Windows 2000
Advanced server.

So my question..

Do I have to install Outlook if I want this to function again, or is there a

lighter client available similar to the old Windows Messaging?

Thanks

Julian
