If you want just a plain OS/2 session w/ no GUI, press alt-F1 when the white square flashes shortly after boot.
Note that Dos programs won't run in this full-screen OS/2 session - only native OS/2 code can be run. I have a phone system that unfortunatly runs on an OS/2 box. I am trying to figure out how to get a command prompt so that I can do a back up on it. I am trying to use shift ~ but that does not seem to work. Any one know?
