We are having an issue where on our laptops particularly those that are docked with dual NIC's (one in the dock, one in the machine) where the content of a folder sometime takes about 30 seconds to appear after initially clicking on the folder structure in the right explorer window. The only fix we have had for this so far is to rebuild the machine and that's not becoming any more of a picnic, and even after that the machine still starts to do the same things after about a month or so.
Does any one have any ideas what could be causing this. Our network consists of a PDC and BDC both NT4 SP6a, with all other servers (4) running Windows 2000, the laptops are Windows 2000 machines.
