Are you trying to install drivers from the installation CD or from the
latest updated drivers from the manufacturer's site? If you are trying to
install the drivers to the W2K server, have you tried installing the drivers
to a W2K workstation, to see if you receive the same errors? I have a Ricoh
shared on our network that installs and runs fine on users workstations,
unfortunately I cannot remember if I used the installation CD drivers or
downloaded newer ones.

Subject: Printer not installing

I'm trying to install xerox, savin, and ricoh print drivers that come
from the manufacturer. It goes all the way through the install process
then at the end it gives me the following error: "Printer driver was not
installed. The specified print monitor is unknown." I searched technet
and various newsgroups but have found nothing on this subject. If
anyone knows a workaround please let me know. I cannot use the default
w2k drivers cause it does not give all the printer options.

Thanks,
