I am not sure if the slowness only from Lexmark c710 model at this
stage, just started my lab environment today.

i had the same problem. We have a lexmark c710 model thing takes
forever to
print compared to our HPs. I did add a internal print server to the
printer, it did speed it up a little. Plus we added 128 of ram.

Dear all,

Have you seen the below problems before?

Print Server = NT4 Member Server with SP6
Standard Printer Models installed = HP & LexMark network printer models

2 strange conditions that I still have not figured out why!

1. It has happened a number of times that by installing new Lexmark
printer driver on Print Server can auto-change many printers (ie print
queue) that has preconfigured paper size A4 to be Letter. The only way
to resolve it so far is by re-applying the printer driver on those print
queue.

2. It takes much slower time to map to Lexmark network printer than HP
model.

Thanks for your inputs.
