Have you checked for any IP address reservations on your DHCP server? You will need a utility that allows you to do Reverse ARP - perhaps you have access to a Linux box.
There is a shareware suite that may help, if you don't already have something to scan your network and take inventory of what is out there. PCS DNS Utility Suite: v3.7.2 http://www.bhs.com/downloads/file.asp?id=6947 The suite also displays the hostname, IP addresses, adapters installed, MAC addresses, and Winsock Stack version and location for the local host.
