It is a damn shame when IT is not held in high regard, you normally find that expenditure and downtime is very high in these companies. I have seen it too many times, and what continues to amaze me is when it jumps and bites them in the butt, they pay small fortune to fix the immediate problem then continue as if nothing ever happened. Avoiding small disasters just too costly.
