I don't think that will work. Because it is raid five it will install the C
and E on all the drives. I don't think it is possible to install just C on
one drive and E on the other.

Subject: Rebuild server

Dear Everyone,

One of my existing server which configure to RAID 5, with 2 partitions (C
and E drive). All the data store at E drive. So I'm going to rebuild the
server and add in additional hard disk (18.2GB - 1 piece). So I still
maintain the RAID 5 and install Windows NT 4.0 into it, and the additional
drive(18.2GB) as second drive.. and I will rename it to E drive.

I use NTbackup to backup and then when I restore... will it work c'os the E
drive is not a partition but it is another physical hard disk that I add in.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Cheers
Carine
