XP Professional, considered an upgrade to Win 2000, has a built-in TS
license. XP Home edition, however, does not.

Subject: Windows XP desktop: need to purchase a CAL for Terminal
Services?

This is probably an easy one, but, I cannot find a straight answer - If a
user has XP on their desktop, does a separate client access license need
to be purchased to allow use of terminal services? With W2K professional,
the CAL is included at no additional charge. With 95, 98, and ME, there
is 90 days then you need to obtain a license. What about with XP?
Thanks - spent too much time looking for an answer that is either just
yes, or no.
