Sounds like a virus/worm. Have you performed a full up2date virus scan
on the box?
Pumping "Server became zombie - must commit suicide" brings up tons on
symantec.com

Subject: NT4 SSH Server Zombie Error

Hello All,

Our two NT4 Servers have Static NAT addresses provided by our cisco
router.

They run SSH2 for remote administration.

Appearing in the Application error log a couple of times is :
WARNING: Server became zombie - must commit suicide
source is SSH Secure Shell Server
5 seconds before this was:
DNS lookup failed for 66.139.73.225
source is same

I have seen the dns ones appear before and was not overly concerned.
But the Zombie error is new. There is no logon / logoff activity in the
security log near these times. Normally when the servers are accessed
remotely a logon is recorded.

Thanks!
