The software using this MASTER 3D SYSTEM (btw. this title remins me of the Z80-based system of SEGA...) could simply send this bit through to a pin of the printerport. By the way, about the voting for JoyNet / JoyCom: there is a problem: geocities doesn't send the form through to my geocities-email-account but to the email-account I signed up with. This one does not exist anymore so I didn't recieve any forms. When I listen to the response I've recieved about it JoyNet is the best name... A good argument was that JoyCom could be a good name for a program using the JoyNet Network... So hereby I declare that JoyNet is the name of this standard!!!
