  Well, the high speed copy *does* work in screen 4, but... it isn't very 
practical, I'm afraid. You have to set the various table adresses to some 
non-standard values. I've never really figured out which ones were best and 
then still you need to give several copy commands to complete that one copy you 
have in mind. This requires quite some processing power and in theory it could 
be faster than vpoking the values directly, but this is the point where I got 
off for it requires quite a lot of experimenting, fine-tuning and testing or in 
other words: time... So it could work, yes, but only for demo purposes, I 
guess, not for building a game engine around it. But then again, I could be 
completely wrong. Perhaps there is some one with lots of free time on his/her 
hands willing to figure it out - maybe even by re-engeneering some old MSX2 
games like Space Manbow.
  Anyway, there is still one point left to consider. Only on a MSX2+ (any MSX 
with a V9958) it is an offical feauture to use the high speed copy in screen 
modes lower than five for you have to set a bit (in reg. 28 I think) to 
activate this feature.
